Weekends

The weekends are going to be over again..It seems like they always fly past so fast and I dont have enuf of it =( You work hard for 5 days and only get 2 days of rest..!Anyway I m rather drained over this weekend..Happy tho..

On Friday,met up with PR,Irv and NW for dinner at this PR recommended black black japanese maggi-like ramen place for dinner..I quite like the char siew there but somehow found the ramen nt as authentic..PR was extremly happy that day cause she met Barbie’s friend b4 meeting us..Anyway after our dinner we went to Boat Quay for drinks..Played dice and the forfeit was to  sing a song..Luckily the pub was not crowded at all..It was quite a scary experience to sing in front of people you dunno..Irving didnt lose at all in the 1st pub but PR was having her private concert there..Subsequently, when Charissa came over to join us, we proceed to 2nd pub..This was much crowded and PR bio a shuai xiao di..Think he is from China..Rather cute looking but not my type..Then NW ask me who is my type..I replied by pointing at him..hahhahah..We went back ard 2am where PR dad drove us back..Thanks a lot! I was so tired but still woke up rather early the next day..

On Sat,met NW for lunch at Suntec after his lessons and we went to the Electronics Fair..Walked ard and shopped a  bit before heading back to his house for a rest..Supposed to  meet Simon at J8 for a movie..And i realised he is v gd at organising..Always use e trick of even not so confirmed folks he will say as confirmed..Then the program wise to watch movie, he just sent to them and did not check timing..Power lehz..hahah..But we went to the arcade and I have my 8th mickey caught by dear NW..(the 7th mickey was the same as 6th one but I gave it to asher already..)We only used 2 bucks..And also got a chance to “roll a dice” and managed to get a lilo( or is it stitch?)..We spent our time in the arcade while waiting for the movie Public Enemies..I dont know if I was ttoo tired or sth but I want to fall asleep at certain points of the movie..Wonder who exactly appreciate the movie a lot..I will give it a 3/5 rating..

I just realised I have not blogged for quite some time and so here I am..I think it really requires EFFORT to get sth gg..In any case, this is a very impt word..Me and wee have been together for 5 years already..How fast time flies without us realising..Been thru his poly days,my uni days,his army days,and now his uni and my working..It really isnt so easy to keep a relnship gg stms..Esp when we  are unhappy with each other..I really have to thank him for being so tolerant towards  me and for accomodating and loving me so much..Here are the pics of our cel..We went to Botanic Gardens, Halia restaurant..Cheers to many more years to come..!

I have also started work for 2 weeks..Currently undergoing training..My new workplace is at CIMB Bank as Preferred Relationship Service Officer..This is a new set-up..The folks there are young and enthusiastic..Definitely fun..I am so excited still about it..We just have a gathering last Fri night to cel the Jul babies bday..We went to Manhattan for dinner and Liang Court Partyworld..Really enjoyed myself thoroughly..I think everyone have really some sort of thing in them that can contribute to the company..I hope we all work hard together and work towards e goal..Here is a pic of the folks..

MY FREAKING I********* NEIGHBOURS

I am going mad..With the constant ping-piang-pong sound from upstairs..Worse still, it only starts at night around 10 plus onwards..Previously was not so long..Tonight one was loud and lasted for already more than half an hour and counting..The  worse thing is we know them so we gave them chances and not lodge a complaint..Previous nights when we got so irritated ( YES, it is NOISY!), mummy would take a broom to knock on our ceiling and daddy would open the window to shout “oei”..This may seem ridiculous or comical but you wouldnt find it funny if you were in my shoes..Please be more considerate and stop all your knocking and banging!!!!

Uni Gathering

Yest, accompanied wee to run some errands..Think I got tired at some point of time and threw temper..Sorry dear!He also went to collect his surprise for me..Met up with Kelly, Zhao Jun,Jermyn,Siew Ling and Evelyn for dinner..Talked quite a lot esp on Eve’s upcoming wedding..Zj went to make braces and I am so super-uber tempted to do so la..hee..car license or braces..shit..looks like I am going to have a hole in my pocket again..hee..Going to do more research on braces before I decide..Anyway she is planning to get married in 2 years time so she has decided to do the braces..Eve mentioned that 50k is euf for a good wedding..we are working towards it man..50k have been flashin in our minds..hahaha..More pics will be posted later..

 

Wee was super-uber excited about watching the show..And so on the 1st day of his “release”, we went to catch this much awaited show..It was super-uber cool Just that it was a pity we had to sit on row 2!and we had to turn out heads left and right in order not to miss any parts..What a waste!But nonetheless,it was exciting and Megan is hot and pretty..!

Our Savings

Over the years, Me and wee have been dilligently saving up ONE DOLLAR GOLD COINS..Actually it started off when we wanted to save up to go to arcade to play kiap kiap..But now even kiap kiap dont require these coins..And we didnt realise our savings these years have grown and grown and grown till…….300over bucks..

This bag of coins have now been deposited into my account and then TRANSFORMED into this..

Tadah! Our Watch bought  within the budget..

This is not exactly a couple watch as the face differs..Hard to describe..It is similar in one way but not that similar..hee..Anyway me and wee doesnt have much Couple-ly thing..I am glad I didnt use the money to buy the Casio camera cause it belongs to US and we both Super-uber luuuuuuuuuuuuurve the watch..!

 Thank you guys for making  this trip a possible one and a superbly enjoyable one and also for creating more wonderful memories from the very moment we meet till the last moment we parted at Changi Airport! Thanks a million!

Took Flight from Singapore at ard 1650hrs and arrived in Macau Airport ard 2000hrs..Immediately dragged my 9.6kg luggage to take the ferry to HK..The ferry took ard 1hr and all of us were v hungry..This is the 1st helpful lady we met  on our way and she guided us to our hotel..

After we dropped our luggage at BPInternational Hotel and walked around to “hunt” for food..Just managed to get into a restaurant which specializes in steamboat but we ordered a-la-carte..The food was not that fantastic except for the sotong balls but we were all v hungry already so we just have to settled for it..We didn’t even took a picture..

Woke up in the morning ( by the time we met nt v early already), we went to the dimsum recommended by our first friend..It was cheap ( sgd8/person) and tasted super shiok..Using KKK description, shen tian liao..He went up and down several times..But the people inside the restaurant was more than 60 years old I suppose..hahahah..But we wasted Char Siew Bao, courtesy of KKK and I think PR is still lamenting over it..haha..

Next Up, we went to take the MTR to Tung Chung Station to proceed to Lantau Island..KKK love the MTR station, don’t know how much he has “cheated” there (Oops!)..Here is a shot where KKK squinted his eyes and was “blinded” by the sun..hahah..We took a cable car there and took a bus down..Here are some of the pictures we took at Lantau Island to share..Ate the dou hua ( where KKK was being stung by mosquitoes) but I think we ate the wrong stall..

We went to Citygate outlet shopping mall..KKK bought the “weirdest” stuff again which were mushrooms..He said heng mei..He also wanted to buy strawberries but didn’t in the end..He still promoted his mushroom to some salesperson in the shop where PR went to get her SKII products in Mongkok..Walked ard but nothing much till we stopped at Esprit..But regretted big time when we went to Mongkok..PR and my paradise..That one really can sheng tian ahz..hahhaha..We just settled our dinner at Thai restaurant where KKK’s cai was there..2 some more..But we also found out KKK hate capsicum also..Me and PR were “forced/Pressurized” to go back to our hotel reluctantly..We had a mini celebration for PR and played Pathetic poker games betting with HKD10cents..ahahhahahah..All poor bastards..

We walked for breakfast dimsum at a more Atas Restaurant but we didn’t really ate a lot..This time round we didn’t shen tian..Walked down Avenue of Stars and took pics along the way..Funniest pose by KKK…We headed to Shang Huen to get KKK hai chan- Scallops from Japan..We were all v amused by his buys and also how he commented it was heng mei..hahaah..and how Irving commented he always go back to the 1st shop which he visited so Irving limited him to 3 shops ( heng ahz)..But I have to admit I am lik KKK stms where I tend to look at clothes from a lot of shops and keep on comparing..The fish porridge we ate there was superb..Really shen tian again but wee and Irving nt porridge person tho..

We went to the Peak and Madam Tussads..Didn’t realise wee has a talent for taking funny pics..hee..even tho my second time there,but with a different grp,feeling is different..We went to the have a coffee break and back to the observatory before we headed to LKF..KKK lost his tix to get to the observatory and heading back to the tram station..He “laughed/smiled” his way through..Anyway just to mention, KKK is fond of losing things..This trip seems to be getting to know KKK trip..hahaha..Irving said he lost his passport when they went to JB..Also,this time round, PR was supposed to take care of his passport, memory card and empty wallet( I don’t even do that for my bf man!) and Irving suppose to take care of his money ( weird that he still overspend with Irving taking care of his money) while I am supposed to provide him with tissues and wet wipes..We basically have our “roles” in taking care of Dearest Aaron..to continue my story,We went there ard 1800hrs where the nightlife had nt started and didn’t get to experience much..And we walked into a primp and proper looking pub which looked like a restaurant more..Then me and PR suggested we wanna go Mongkok again! * Eyes opening WIDE and awake*The guys also headed the same direction as us..But they went to get the KKK supposedly v famous Qi Hua Lao PoBing ( he has been repeatedly repeating Qii Hua for almost 10 times!!!) and we realised he is v persistent in whatever things he wanna get..Me and PR on our sacred mission again..This time round getting even more things..hee..PR: I heard the guys went to Portland street to curb KKK curiosity while we were away..Don’t tink got his cai tho..hahahha..
We went back to hotel but were too tired to play already..The night where we managed to zzz a lot more..

After eating at a Char Can Ting ( KKK and Irving headed back to the dim sum place cos they love it so much but was over the hours so in the end ate nothing..), we headed to Macau..Took a ferry again and met our second friend courtesy of KKK..They were from Indonesia and I especially love this lil boy called Nicolas..He kept on making funny faces and super-uber cute..We checked into the Casa Real Hotel ( only e guys room were ready) and planned our route..We wanted to go to eat the famous Zhu Par Bao but were scared that it was too late and we headed to Zhu Hai..Goodness, gracious..!  We spent most of the time at immigrations and the only achievement was the sumptuous dinner which we ate delicacies at dirt-cheap price( but we didn’t even know how much we spent but Abalone was SGD1 per piece)..We spent the rest of the money on Mian Bao che ( which was not used for selling bread but saying that the shape looks like it?)and Mangosteen..We also bought alcohol for playing in the night..We headed to Casino at our hotel and were pretty lost initially..I think people could tell we were beginners..We still needed to read instructions and observe the tables..hahaha..But KKK has met an auntie-shi mu..haha..He was bent on earning some big bucks so that he has enuf to spare the next day..(He hasn’t bought enough souveniers)…After winning some, he was “hooked” to playing more but we limit to 0300am..All 4 of us except PR won a bit..I am not saying she lost but she didn’t play cause there were no jackpots ard..We went back to the hotel room to play what we have learnt at the casino- Bacarrat..Read more about the game here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baccarat..Anyway in simple terms, you just compare the points at the back and see who got the bigger number ( Banker agn Player)..We realised that we were getting “high” easily as we just drank and drank and decided to change the game to shui shi lao shu shi..We were suppose to say a topic and write down things which does not clash with another party if not we will need to drink..Lets quote a few egs:1. Departmental store ( PR:Robinsons, Grace:Marks&Spencer, Aaron:OG and Irving:Sales person..I didn’t rem their exact answers but Irving was asked to drink cause his answer is a bit ridiculous) 2. Local banks in Singapore (all 3 of them chose OCBC except me..hee) 3.Things that NW is wearing ( PR:Specs, Grace:underwear, Aaron:singlet and Irving:trousers..all so lucky!)4. Things that KKK wear ( This time round somebody must drink cause kkk only have 3 things..I seriously forgot who drank..only rem PR didn’t drink)5. Local celebs( This was supposed to be so general so hard to match but the guys all chose their goddess – Jeanette Aw) 6. Things you do before you go to zzz ( PR:wash face,Grace: chitchat with nw,Irving:brush teeth?, Aaron:COVER BLANKET!!! We forced him to drink but he was unhappy and replied v loudly..)..We said to get up for the breakfast as we played till 0600am but all fell asleep except PR..In the end, we woke at 0900am..I have to admit I was still feeling slightly drowsy..hahah..I forgot to say we took zi pai pics on e bus ride to Zhu Hai immigration..And KKK owe us a pole dance for nt doing a funny pose..When we ask him to pose, he doesnt..When we didnt ask him to pose,he did..hahahha..Also, KKK was caught by the immigration twice..He couldnt smile his way through..hahaha..He was caught firstly for taking 3 pics of the immigration and secondly for sitting on the poles..But that was also the only time he bothered to check if his passport was chopped..What an encounter!Since then we looked carefully for signs which says ” NO photography”..hahahah..Also, I forgot to mention that 4 of them got their passport checked at some point of time except me ( should i be happy or sad?haahhah)..The people all commented ” old already still look like that”..hahah..

We headed to Venetian after breakfast..Venetian is really a very beautiful place..Or should I say Macau is really a very beautiful place ( should we go again???)..All the architecture are so special unlike those in HK, which is so packed..Me and wee gambled our capital and winnings from the night before..We won and lost and won and lost till our very last HKD50..We wanted to play and leave if we lost or anything..We were playing Big-Small and we both decided to place the bet on the number 7 and know what? WE WON..1 pay 12..so we won HKD600..Can you imagine we were so lucky..Thanks dearie..!We took pictures of the Venetian and headed to Da San Ba to see Ruins of St Paul..what is weird we met with our friends we met on 21.06..What a small world and it seems like we were so popular..hahhaha..Here are the pics:

What have I been up to???

Counting down to the no of days I am leaving  the bank..I wouldnt say I am feeling v happy now..It is just mixed with loads of feelings..Stms you are just wondering how come time passed so slowly and you cant wait for it..Another time you are scared and dont know whether you made the right choice..Then at the same time you are all excited and geared up for the new challenge..!But you also feel sad for leaving a bunch of people you have grown close to..Anyway being so “popular”, I have been getting treats everyday..muahahah..My first treat was from the Liat gang and this was last Tue..I think I grew the closest to them cause we sat near each other and last year, still organised a few outings when times are good..now during bad times, everything seems so restricted..Anyway, here are the pic for the bunch of v nice Liat Gang:

I still rem a comment that one of the bosses said ” If only the ROs dress like this to work everyday…”muaahhaha)Now our team is also inclusive of Claire and Adeline..Every RO is special in their own way cos service is such a subjective thing..You cannot judge..But of cos everybody have their preferences..Recently, the “Oscar” and “Big Bird” saga made everyone in the team unhappy but am glad things have been better now..But today yet another incident happened..And I agree that NATO is reali v bad..! More on the happy side, ROs having a BBQ at Rohani’s place this sat!!!

Anyway I have to thank a lot of people but I cant list them all down..Thank you fr the bottom of my heart to all who have helped me and supported me along the way in my 1 1/2 years with the bank..It was a short journey but an enriching one..

Anyway last weekend I acc Wee to see a doc near his bro house..I think the doc was quite gd and am considering to give it a try myself..I have a problem of digestion..I always feel very bloated..Thereafter as last weekend was IMD ( Only cultured pp knows it means International Museum Day), Wee and I took the opportunity to go to the ACM..We have always wanted to visit the ACM as there is a special exhibition on The Kangxi Emperor..My bigggest takeaway from the exhibition was the 39m scroll painting..There wasnt even enough space to put the scroll..The painting was v intricate and both me and wee were amazed..!

I was disappointed we didnt have the chance to visit the Science Centre for the Da Vin Ci though..Hope there will be more upcoming  interesting exhibitions! I went to meet pr for shopping for presents and ended up buying a tee for myself..Wee went to meet his Pri sch frens..Here is my damage done..

It looks plain here but I like it a lot..Tried and let wee see and he thinks it is nice too..( Heng ahz, normally he say I got bad taste and always choose the same pattern, dont try new style…)I also bought a pair of earrings which I extremly like but I am letting my left ear “rest” first..Shall post pics of the pretty earrings I bought for myself in next few entries..

My Parents have gone to Taiwan  for a week..I think they are having fun over there..I am missing my mummy and no,I am not missing her purely because of housework..I am missing talking to her and eating dinner at home..Home-cooked food..Hate outside food..Maybe it is time for me to learn some dishes so that my hubby in future can get to enjoy after a hard day’s work! They always say to win a man’s heart,you must win the man’s stomach..( I donno if stomach is the right word)..haha..Anyway Mummy and Daddy will be back tom night! Yippee!!!And I am gg to HK soon..Counting down to days to HK..But before that I will be treating wee to buffet lunch at Ritz ( Congrats for doing so well in your exams and you deserved it!) and also Mummy bday cum Father’s Day cel to org Yum Cha buffet at my house..So exciting..!!!

This weekend will be gg for the BBQ and start writing my “love” notes..Am running out of time..So many things to do so lil time..

My Week

This week was not a so-called smooth one..It was officially announced to the team that I have tendered my resignation..It was really a tough decision..But nonetheless, wish me all the best and may things  get better!!!

Also went to watch Night At the Museum 2..I like the show a lot..It was nice..A happy shows makes you happy too =)

Also, Dear got his new hp..Much awaited hp..He wanted a hp with touch screen fx and also has wi-fi..Finally, he has his Samsung Omnia..Yeah! ( but think eating grass lo)

A Simple Day

Nothing great..Nothing fancy..Just spent a Sat noon over a cup of coffee and cake with wee, followed by walking around shopping for present..And watching Angels and Demons..

I wouldnt say I am WOW by the movie..Maybe there was too much anticaption..The greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment..I would give it 3 and a 1/2 stars out of 5..
